Textiles in India

From simple cottons to mirrored folk work or sleek Kanchipuram silk, textiles in India astonish with their rich colours, fine weaving and seemingly endless new patterns. Each area has its own preferred colours and patterns. It is impossible not to buy some! To give an idea of the variety, Louise shows her clients the National Crafts Museum’s collection in Delhi and Ahmedabad’s Calico Museum.
