Hotels in India

It was the industrialist J M Tata who in 1903 built India’s first world class luxury hotel in Mumbai, the Taj Mahal. And it was one of India’s most exotic maharajas who first opened a royal palace to paying guests, the Rambagh Palace at Jaipur. Today, India has top class international hotels, historic hotels ranging from sumptuous to simple, and even some landmark contemporary hotels. Louise says: hotels in India are more impressive than you expect!
